As some of you will have seen already, we tried to move away from metal and multicoloured plastic and opted for more "natural" play where wood, stones and planting will be incorporated into the new playground. This is the result of 2 years intensive consulting of local children and park users and many many hours hard work trying to secure funds to make your and our dreams come true! Plans of the original "old" playgound:
Plans of the completely finished "new" playground... (hopefully..... one day)
Phase 1 of building, THIS is the playground as we will opened it summer 2011
.... and this is the playground as we would wish to have it by not too long. Keep your fingers crossed that we are successful with our bids!

But they have sent us a lovely framed certificate of achievement for our 'improving' status. This will be in the noticeboard in the park soon.
Thanks…
